Im a 20 year old trying to establish himself in todays society. I am a certified EMT-B and am going to go back to school for my medic's license soon. I want to be a firefighter/paramedic. I can be a little shy, but i open up quickly. I play a little guitar, and music definitely drives my life. I have a small tight-knit group of best friends who mean the world to me. I can be a bit of a cynic, but i always try to see the sunny side of the situation. I try to make everyone laugh, and some of the time i succeed. Others not so much. What it comes down to is I work 3rd shift and i typically work between 40 and 50 hours a week. I don't get out as much as i would like. When i do its usually with the same group of people. So i don't really meet anyone new or interesting. So ya, thats it for now.

I like to do a variety of things. The wider the better. Boredom sets in pretty easily. I'm also very easy going. I don't like to control other people's actions, and expect a sense of independence. Nobody puts Andrew in a corner. Or Baby for that matter.

As of May 2006, I graduated from Illinois State with a degree in Actuarial Science but I have been working the past two years in Chicago within an Insurance company as a systems developer.

Movies one night, club downtown the next. I truly love to just try new things.

Crying is necessary only because you can appreciate laughing more.

I notice that a lot of people put in their profiles (on this and other social networking sites) things like "I am different". I find this an odd thing to proclaim. Sure it is not good to follow the crowd and just do like everyone else, but I think it is equally lame to have your action, likes, and dislikes determined by your desire to avoid the crowd. We are all similar to others in some respects and in others we differ, so what. I like football and basketball, most guys do. The later interests are much less common, but it is me and that is far more important than whether it is the same or different from the masses.

My story is a little too lush to fit into this box. I've had enough life experience to be entirely unable to summarize myself - but I'll share the basics:I'm very intelligent but down to earth. Hi Everyone! Most of my friends are married and starting to have families of their own, which doesn't leave much time for getting out and about, so here I am. There's not a 'one certain way' with me. I'd be boring if 'what you see is what you get.' I can spend a weekend crawling in the dirt, drinking, singing, sleeping on the ground, working on vehicles, grunting, and doing all sorts of manly stuff. After that I can come home and get dressed to the 9s and take you out to a nice dinner, then go swing dancing with a live band, or to the theatre. I can be hyper all day, doing sports, or just being a goofball, then just cuddle with you and just watch a movie, or two, or seven.

Born and raised in Chicago, I come from a loving home, I thank the Lord for each day i wake up and credit my faith with helping me through some tough times. Oh but please don't run away because I put the words "faith" in my profile. I am just the type of person that does believe in things that reach further than our physical eyes can see.
